Forget Me Not Sessions

In honor of my mother

Forget Me Not Photography is a very special project offered in memory and honor of my mom.   These sessions are deeply personal to me and are provided on a volunteer basis.

There is no charge for my photography services and no obligation to purchase prints.  After the session, a private gallery will be available if you wish to purchase professional prints.   A senior citizen discount is included.

To preserve the quality of the artwork, print releases are not provided, and all prints must be ordered through the photographer’s gallery.

Who These Sessions Are For

Forget Me Not Sessions are offered for individuals age 60 and older.
Additional family members may require a small sitting fee.   Please contact the photographer for details.

Location

Sessions take place in my garage studio or on location.

​

If a loved one is unable to travel due to health concerns, arrangements may be made for an in-home session or, with prior approval, at the facility where they reside. (Family must obtain facility approval.)

Session Style

Portraits are created using solid color backdrops such as beige, blue, or brown to keep the focus on the individual and create timeless images.

Limited Availability

Because these sessions are volunteered, a limited number of spots are available, and sessions are selected by the photographer.

Why These Portraits Matter

If you are over 60, I encourage you to have your portrait taken.
If you have parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents over 60, encourage them as well.

If someone you love has been diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or cancer, please do not wait to document them. From personal experience, these photographs become incredibly meaningful.   They help preserve memories of the person you love — beyond the illness.

Investment

Until further notice, all Forget Me Not sessions remain volunteer sessions selected by the photographer.  There is no investment unless you want to purchase prints.  All prints include a senior citizen discount.  Prints are printed at my partnering professional lab.  Immediate family can be included.  For extended family and pets, a small commission fee will be charged.  Please contact me for additional information.
